POSITIONS FOR CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST AND LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Alpha Neurobehavioral Clinic is seeking a Licensed or Licensed-eligible Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker to join our practice.  The candidate should be in good standing with the NC licensing board. Our practice is conveniently located in Jacksonville, N.C. and is a short drive from North Carolina's Crystal Coast. Jacksonville is home to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River.  We supply you patients and referral stream, office space/supplies, billing, and scheduling of patients.

 

Desired Candidates will have: 

• A North Carolina Psychology License or License-eligible and be in good standing

• Experience delivering behavioral health services (i.e., Individual therapy)

• Knowledge of and ability to interpret objective and projective psychological assessments (For Psychologists)

• Knowledge of and ability to monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan

• Knowledge of and ability to refer patient, client, or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education

• Report writing skills.

• Experience consulting with referring providers

• Crisis intervention knowledge and experience.

• Thorough understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations

• Experience working with a range of ages from children to geriatrics. Special consideration will be given to those who have experience working with children.
